This Courtyard is conveniently located in downtown Syracuse, close to many bars and restaurants, including Kitty Hoynes, which is a must-see Irish pub (closed Mondays). You can also get to Dinosaur BBQ within a 10 minute walk. The hotel is adjoined to the Residence Inn and the check in desk facilitates both. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are rooms available for meetings and a convenient parking lot next to the hotel ($21/night at the time of writing).

The Courtyard Marriott at Armory Square exceeded our expectations and was the perfect spot for our overnight stay. The ladies at the front counter were so kind and helpful, especially Pauline and Elizabeth. The room was extremely clean and comfortable (thank you, Gladys O)! Our family enjoyed the pool and gym, both of which were accommodating and clean. We also ordered breakfast and coffee from the café our final morning. The gentleman working was patient and friendly. The breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwiches were delicious and my daughters devoured the double chocolate muffin! Parking was an additional cost, but to have our car on site and in a covered lot was totally worth it! We will be back!

Location depends on what your plans are. If you’re hitting the bars this is the perfect hotel (location 5 star). Literally walk across the street to an Irish Pub and several other bars in the area. If you are looking to get to bed early on the weekend like me it’s a horrible location (one star). It did not get quiet until about 2:45am. Music so loud from a car the driver probably has hearing loss. Engine revving, tires squealing beeping horn none stop m, people yelling. The hotel even offered complementary ear plugs but someone forget to put them in the room. Suite was great a little dated but clean. Service was 3 star because when we arrived to women at the counter doing nothing . They didn’t greet us and is felt like we were bothering them

Room and hotel and service was excellent. The bed and pillows were terrible. When you sit on the bed and can hear springs pop, it's time to replace. Woke up¹ feeling terrible because beds were that bad.

The staff at this hotel are top notch. The service whether it was at the cafe or the front desk was fantastic and I really appreciate the kindness of all the staff. Always a good morning or a welcome of hello. The room was nice and clean and the bed very comfy. Food at the cafe was delicious, I only had breakfast over the two days I was here and it was so good I am a coffee snob and the lattes were super tasty.

We’ve stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Armory Square several times a year for a few years now. It’s a solid midrange hotel with consistently excellent service. The staff are always friendly, polite, and professional. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well laid out. The mattresses are on the firm side (not our personal favorite), and while the hotel doesn’t offer much in the way of scenic views, it makes up for it in convenience. The location is fantastic, right near great restaurants, the MOST museum, and plenty of walkable spots. Destiny USA is just a short drive away, and the nearby convenience store is a nice perk. Weekend noise from the nearby bars can be noticeable, but if you enjoy the nightlife, it’s part of the charm. Parking is another major plus, especially with the attached garage, which makes unloading after a shopping trip at Destiny USA quick and easy. Overall, a dependable and comfortable stay in a great location!
